Question:
I am a software engineer working in Karachi Pakistan, A lot of software houses are working on financial applications which includes banking software and many are dedicated to banking software. Is it correct in light of Islam to work in these software houses. I have already asked this question from 2 Ulama-e-Karams but both have different answers. One is giving permission to work and he was saying that you you are not participating directly in Sood but working on different software in which some should be useful and good but second Mufti was saying that it is completely wrong because some day you may work on the software which includes penalties and Sood. Please direct me in this problem.
